Spring Scholars at Tulane University begin on campus in the spring semester of their first-year after engaging in exploratory experiences in the fall. Many students choose to study abroad at a partner institution, take classes as a visiting student at a domestic institution, or take a gap semester to work or pursue an internship.
Spring Scholars join the Tulane community in January by participating in New Student Orientation and their First-Year Seminar course. Spring Scholars are supported by the vast network of on-campus resources provided by Newcomb-Tulane College and Student Affairs; the First-Year Experience office provides student support and contact from enrollment through the spring semester transition to campus life.
