Below is a brief description of each Beyond the Bubble trip offered for Spring 2025. More details to come soon!
Saturday, January 25th | 12:30-3:30 PM
This Beyond the Bubble trip is perfect for anyone looking to further immerse themselves in the art and culture of New Orleans! We will be going to the New Orleans Museum of Art (NOMA) and walking through the Sculpture Garden to get some Cafe du Monde Beignets!
The New Orleans Museum of Art (NOMA) is the oldest art museum in the city and boasts close to 50,000 pieces of work! On our guided tour, the museum experts will offer us insight into part of the museum’s permanent collection. Then, we will make our way outside to Cafe Du Monde and walk through the Sculpture Garden which contains more than 90 unique art installations all with the backdrop of NOLA’s picturesque City Park. New Orleans is known for its art, come experience it at the epicenter!

This Beyond the Bubble trip is perfect for anyone looking to learn more about the unique culture of New Orleans and what makes this city so great! We will be going on a walking tour of the French quarter and picking up some Cafe Du Monde Beignets.
As your first Mardi Gras season is ramping up, join us as our tour guide, Denise Augustine, uses story-telling to bring you closer to the heart of New Orleans. She will be sharing the authentic cultures and traditions of New Orleans and you’ll feel a new found appreciation and love for New Orleans after this trip.

This Beyond the Bubble trip is perfect for anyone wanting to end their semester with a little slice of Louisiana! We will be taking a tour of one of Louisiana’s most important ecosystems: the swamp!
Our Ultimate Swamp Adventure will wind through the closest natural swamp to downtown New Orleans, the beautiful Bayou Segnette. You’ll get to see the amazing scenery and wildlife the bayou has to offer and hear all about the culture of New Orleans from our native Cajun Captain. What better way to end your first year at Tulane, than with a swamp tour??
