Hey y’all! My name is Charlotte Perez, and I’m so excited to be a part of the 2025–2026 First-Year Five team! I’m from San Antonio, Texas, and I’m currently a sophomore majoring in Political Science (International Relations) and Asian Studies, with a minor in Chinese.
On campus, I stay involved in a lot of spaces I’m passionate about! I’m the PR Manager for MeeTU K-pop Dance Crew, Social Chair for the Korean Student Association, and PR Chair for First TU College Krewe. I’m also a member of Phi Alpha Delta, Tulane’s Pre-Law Fraternity, and I attend Bible study at the BCM weekly which has been such a great way to connect with other girls and build community. I also work as an Administrative Assistant at the Center for Public Service, helping support community engagement and service partnerships across campus.
Outside of class and campus orgs, I love hanging out with friends whether we’re going to dance class together on Sundays or grabbing a sweet treat off campus. I also enjoy listening to music from all over the world some of my favorites are XG, KATSEYE, Malcolm Todd, and LEISURE!
One of my favorite things about Tulane is how many opportunities there are to get connected. You can really explore your interests and build a community around what you love it doesn’t even have to be related to your major! My biggest advice? Don’t be afraid to try new things and explore. It’s one of the best ways to discover who you are and what you’re passionate about.
